Whether you’re a small or mid-sized business owner or a seasoned Human Resource professional, it can be hard to know where to start when dealing with mental health issues in the workplace. It’s not always easy, and if approached in the wrong way, can result in legal complications for your business. This workshop will provide a framework to start a conversation with an employee who may be struggling, and will outline all of the legal concepts you need to understand (including “duty to accommodate” or “duty to inquire”). This session is grounded in learning from actual cases.
